Choose the human path towards finding a senior's residence

Our priority is to satisfy your needs, we are committed to guide and assist you throughout the entire selection process of the senior's residence of your choice.  Carra made the choice of offering families and health care providers for seniors an entirely free service.  We are compensated solely by the private residences, this allows us to help families gratuitously, without receiving any public funding.  All residents referred to by Carra will pay the exact same rate as any other resident with the same services.  There will be no increase or contractual modification for residents who will benefit from our service.  All rates for senior residences are validated by the department of Health and Social Services, this ensures full transparency.

3 EASY STEPS
FOR A WELL-REFLECTED SELECTION

№ 1

MEET WITH ONE OF OUR ADVISORS
TO IDENTIFY YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS

We have advisors of proximity by region who are very familiar with all residences in their sector.  Our advisors help you determine what your needs are and target the corresponding residences.

We meet with you at your home in order to clearly identify your needs and present lifestyles with the objective of finding a similar residence while providing a comfortable and secure environment with the appropriate services.  During this meeting the advisor will help you establish your monthly budget, this will allow you to know the approximate maximum rent you can pay each month.  To do so you need to calculate your total net income and subtract your current expenses not included in your lease (for example: telephone, television, clothing, activities and medication).

This must absolutely reflect the maximum amount, in case you might have forgotten to calculate certain expenses or in the event that your situation would change along the way resulting in the need for additional services.  By establishing your budget it gives you an indicator of an amount for your monthly lease which should not be exceeded.  It is always preferable to also have some leeway.

LIVING ENVIRONMENT

Before starting your search for a residence, it is essential that you take the time to clearly identify your needs.  It will make it easier to determine your requirements.

You will find a list of services and amenities offered in different residences.  This list can be used as a guideline in helping you make your decision for your living environment.  Do not hesitate to print the list and check off what corresponds to your needs and expectations.
